The Project Coordinator of the Kogi State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (KG-RAAMP), Engineer Sheidu Obansa Adamu, has hailed Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s victory at the State Election Petition Tribunal, highlighting the potential boost it provides for RAAMP’s rural development objectives.

In a statement released in Lokoja, Obansa described the tribunal’s judgment as a validation of the people’s trust in Governor Ododo’s leadership. He expressed optimism that the Governor’s renewed mandate will translate to even stronger support and alignment for RAAMP’s work in uplifting the lives of rural dwellers across the state.

“Governor Ododo has been a steadfast champion of RAAMP’s mission to improve rural infrastructure and boost agricultural marketing opportunities,” Obansa said. “His electoral triumph ensures continued high-level commitment to our project, which is closely integrated with the administration’s broader rural development agenda.”

The RAAMP Coordinator noted that the Governor’s victory provides policy continuity and stability that will enable the project to build on its previous successes. He highlighted RAAMP’s objectives to include the upgrading rural roads, constructing storage facilities, and connecting farmers to lucrative markets – all of which will have direct impacts Kogi rural communities.

“With Governor Ododo’s strengthened position, we are confident that RAAMP will receive the necessary resources and political backing to deepen its transformative impact on the lives of our rural population,” Obansa added. “This is a victory not just for the Governor, but for the millions of Kogites whose livelihoods depend on the progress of our rural economy.”

The RAAMP Coordinator used the occasion to pray for the continued good health and wisdom of Governor Ododo as he steers the affairs of the state.
